Solid and liquid pesticides can be formulated into tablets as a delivery system. Inclusion of LatticeTM microcrystalline cellulose (MCC), a special grade of MCC for agricultural application, and Ac-Di-SolR croscarmellose, a cross-linked sodium carboxy methylcellulose (XL-CMC), into the formulation provides a rapid tablet disintegration time of not more than 5 minutes. Lattice MCC acts as an excellent dry binder when the pesticide is compressed thus imparting desired hardness to the tablets. Simultaneously, the XL-CMC being an excellent disintegrating agent, provides the desirable rapid tablet disintegration time. The tablets disintegrate to prime particles and do not form a hard pack when the suspension is left undisturbed for 1-3 days.
